Burger King announced that it has launched national hiring initiative for nearly 6,500 restaurants in the United States.
The burger brand said it wants to bring 60,000 new team members on board in positions ranging from entry level roles to management positions. Burger King said the move arrives following “one of the brand’s most transformative periods in years.” This includes modernizing locations and improving operations.
Burger King has more than 30,000 U.S. employees with 90% of its domestic locations owned and operated by franchisees.
“Burger King has been part of my family for as long as I can remember – I even got my own start as a Guest Ambassador, serving guests in the dining room,” said Nicole Dreier, a Burger King franchisee who operates 45 restaurants. “I grew up watching Team Members turn jobs into decades-long careers, and carrying on that legacy is something I take seriously as a franchisee. When we bring on new team members, we’re not just filling roles, we’re potentially changing the course of someone’s life.”
Dreier notes that most of her leadership team began their careers as team members.
“And we wouldn’t have it any other way,” she added.

Burger King recently launched its “There’s A New King And It’s You” campaign, which places the focus on guests and their feedback.
