Verrilli’s Bakery Partners with “Beyond The Green” Podcast to Honor Local Firefighters
Verrilli’s Bakery, a beloved establishment in Morristown, has teamed up with Sleeping Bear Productions’ “Beyond The Green” podcast to show appreciation for the bravery and dedication of local firefighters. On September 11, they will be delivering pizza and donuts to firehouses in Morristown, Morris Township, and Morris Plains, NJ.
This collaborative effort is a tribute to the heroes who risk their lives to keep the community safe. Peter and Sotiri “Terry” Barbounis, Morristown HS Alumni and creators of “Beyond The Green,” will personally thank the firefighters for their service during the deliveries. Peter Barbounis expressed, “This is a small way for us to give back to the heroes in our community and convey our deep gratitude for their unwavering commitment.”
Owner Kristi Dimogerodakis, also an MHS Alum, stated, “We are honored to partner with the Barbounis brothers and their podcast to recognize the incredible efforts of our local firehouses. It’s a privilege to give back to those who give so much.” Morris Township Fire Chief Michael Nunn expressed his gratitude for the generous donation, emphasizing the impact of the community’s support on local firefighters.
The deliveries will take place throughout September 11, ensuring that every firehouse in the area receives a special delivery from Verrilli’s Bakery and “Beyond The Green” podcast. This initiative serves as a token of appreciation for the selfless work of local firefighters and a reminder of the community’s unwavering support.
In conclusion, Verrilli’s Bakery and “Beyond The Green” podcast are coming together to honor local firefighters on September 11. This gesture of gratitude and support showcases the unity and appreciation within the community for those who put their lives on the line every day.
