Within minutes, Beyoncé’s official accounts confirmed the announcement, as she posted a minute-long video on Instagram featuring a taxi with a Texas vanity plate driving through dusty roads, past radio towers, and a sign for “Radio Texas.” The video ends with a crowd gathered in front of a billboard of her waving next to the words “Texas! Hold ’em,” as a song begins to play. The video concludes with the phrase “act ii” and the date March 29. Her official website also showcases the same video and date, as well as the names of two songs: “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 carriages,” with snippets of both songs posted to Tidal shortly thereafter.
