Beans & Brews Coffee House reported that new openings surged ahead as it closed out the past year.
The coffee house franchise, with a “High-Altitude Roasting” slogan that hosts a “mountain vibe,” opened 11 new locations last year. This includes openings in its home state of Utah along with growth in the Texas Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston markets, along with expansion in Nevada. On the list of upcoming openings is a new location for Idaho.
Founded in 1993 and franchising since 2004, at the end of January Beans & Brews reported that it had more than 89 locations in 7 states. Another 112 locations are currently in development, the company said.
“2025 was an important year for Beans & Brews,” said Doug Willmarth, CEO of Beans & Brews Coffee House. “We delivered on our 15% growth target, strengthened our franchise relationships, and continued to evolve our menu while staying true to our roots. The momentum we’ve built reflects the strength of our brand, our franchise partners, and the culture we’ve worked hard to create.”
An additional step taken by Beans & Brews in 2025 was the addition of Chef Becca McIntyre as vice president of supply chain and culinary. The brand said McIntyre played a key role in expanding the brand’s cold brew program, which doubled cold brew sales and attracted new guests across the system.
Beans & Brews also launched new drinks throughout the year. New cold brew flavors were joined by the launch of a protein coffee line crafted with a creamy, dairy-based protein milk rather than powder, delivering a smooth, satisfying experience whether served hot or iced.
