Visit Myrtle Beach is thrilled to announce the return of Chef Swap at The Beach for its second season. Following a successful first season, the culinary reality TV show will premiere on The Cooking Channel on Saturday, March 2 at 7 p.m. EST. In partnership with The WorkShop Content Studios, Visit Myrtle Beach is excited to continue highlighting the culinary talent throughout the Grand Strand. The new season will showcase the stories of 14 skilled chefs from the area across seven episodes airing weekly until April 13.
“We are excited to kick off the highly anticipated second season of Chef Swap at The Beach. This season will continue to highlight the area’s culinary scene and explore the stories of those who are dedicated to providing a top-notch dining experience for locals and visitors,” said Karen Riordan, President, and CEO of Visit Myrtle Beach.
The host for this season will be Chef Mason Zeglen, a two-time winner of Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games, and the owner of Milk & Honey Coffee Café in Surfside Beach, S.C. Each episode will feature two regional chefs swapping kitchens and preparing new dishes for evaluation by veteran judges Dylan Foster and Johanna Wilson Jones. New additions to this season include a “catch and cook” episode showcasing the area’s seafood bounty.
“This series is not only top-tier foodie entertainment, but also an opportunity to shine a light on the diverse, passionate, dedicated chefs helping to fuel our community,” said Zeglen.
The 14 distinguished chefs competing this season represent the diverse culinary scene of the area, with restaurants such as Crafty Rooster, Drunken Jack’s, Inlet Prohibition Company, Hop N’ Wich, Filet’s, Mexican party, O.A.K. Prime, Yummy Eats, Nonna’s Taste of Italy, Fire & Smoke, Garden, Dead Dog Saloon, Rivertown Bistro, and Bar 19 Twelve.
