Apex Social, a leading caregiver placement service provider, is proud to announce the winners of its annual Care Professional of the Year and Host Family of the Year contests. These contests were designed to highlight the exceptional individuals who excel in their roles as caregivers and host families, making a positive impact on the lives of the families they serve.
The Care Professional of the Year contest encouraged host families to nominate their outstanding caregivers by sharing stories that showcase their unique qualities and contributions. Whether it be through exceptional caregiving skills, community involvement, or a commitment to embracing cultural diversity, Apex Social sought inspiring narratives that demonstrate the transformative impact of these caregivers.
“We are continually inspired by the dedication and compassion of our Care Professionals, who play a vital role in enriching the lives of the families they serve,” said Sarah Kodinsky, CEO of Apex Social. “Through this contest, we aim to shine a spotlight on their outstanding contributions and recognize their invaluable role in our community.”
Likewise, the Host Family of the Year contest allowed Care Professionals to nominate exceptional host families who have created a nurturing environment and supported their personal and professional growth. By fostering meaningful connections and encouraging cultural exchange, these host families have gone above and beyond in their roles.
“We recognize the importance of fostering strong bonds between Care Professionals and host families, as these relationships are at the heart of our mission to provide exceptional care,” added Kodinsky. “Through this contest, we hope to celebrate the incredible host families who embody the spirit of hospitality and support, making a lasting impact on the caregivers who become part of their family.”
After careful consideration, the winners of the Care Professional of the Year contest are Hannah Elixmann (NJ) in first place, with runners-up Sarah Schmitt (NJ), Yasmin Kerscher (NJ), and Tobias Bosse (CA). The winners of the Host Family of the Year contest are the Nicholson Family (MA) in first place, followed by the Phillips Family (FL) in second place and the Peters Family (VA) in third place.
These winners were selected based on the compelling nature of their nominations and their alignment with Apex Social’s core values. All nominees will receive Honorable Mention Certificates and copies of the nomination letters, while the winners and runners-up will receive cash rewards or equivalent gifts.
