Alzheimer’s Association® Teams Up with Rippl for Better Dementia Care

In a groundbreaking partnership, the Alzheimer’s Association and Rippl have joined forces to provide unprecedented access to high-quality dementia care for individuals and caregivers nationwide. The Dementia Care Navigation Service (DCNS) combines Rippl’s on-demand dementia care model with the Alzheimer’s Association’s extensive resources, including its 24/7 Helpline and community education programs.

The DCNS will be available through both public and private payers, filling existing gaps in dementia care and supporting thousands of individuals and caregivers who may not have had access to comprehensive care previously. This innovative partnership has been approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for participation in the GUIDE Model, a pilot program aimed at improving the dementia care experience.

With millions of Americans living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, the need for enhanced care and support is critical. The DCNS will provide 24/7 access, care coordination, comprehensive planning, medication management, and crucial support resources to ensure every aspect of the dementia journey is addressed. This service will not only support individual caregivers but also work with providers and health systems to deliver community-based services and respite care.

The primary focus of the DCNS is to integrate seamlessly with primary care providers and health systems, enabling them to offer comprehensive dementia care as an extension of their practices. This approach is not only proven to improve quality of life for those living with dementia but also to save billions of dollars in healthcare costs. The ultimate goal is to keep patients at home and out of the ER and hospital, while ensuring health equity and access for all.

Through legislation and advocacy efforts, the Alzheimer’s Association has long been dedicated to improving dementia care and supporting caregivers. This new partnership with Rippl represents a pivotal moment in dementia care, with a shared commitment to shaping a better future for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
