A franchise consisting of upscale, turnkey salon suites is targeting expanded growth.
Image Studios announced that it plans to widen its brand in Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis, and Tampa while citing strong demand for beauty and wellness services in these markets.
With its business partner MPK Equity Partners, Image Studios in one of the nation’s fastest-growing salon brands and has more than 120 locations across 27 states. Another 200 studios are in development.
“We’re expanding our brand to cities where we know both Image Owners and Pros can succeed,” said Jason Olsen, founder and CEO of Image Studios. “In markets like Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis and Tampa, we see nothing but an open runway. Regarding franchisees, Image Studios said the markets where it plans to grow each represent “a strategic franchise opportunity for qualified entrepreneurs to invest in a scalable business model.”
According to Image, its studios have an average tenant mix of approximately 60% hair professionals and 40% aesthetics professionals, with a long-term goal of 50/50. This diversity fosters cross-referrals, collaboration, and client loyalty, leading to stronger retention rates, the company said.
The franchise has also embraced technology through the integration of AI-powered chatbots, streamlined lead capture, and digital systems, which allow studio owners to manage operations more efficiently while reducing friction and enhancing satisfaction.
Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Image Studios was founded in 2009 and launched a franchise program 2015.
