Gilly Hitchcock, the office’s founder, has passed the baton to Phil DeSoto, who has over 30 years of industrial experience, mostly within the Pulp and Paper industry.
Phil’s extensive background includes various roles such as chemical sales, industrial manufacturing sales & marketing, medical device sales, and project engineering. He most recently managed the New England region for Dubois Chemicals, where he provided cost savings performance and value to the mills. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Maine, Phil is well-equipped to lead FPC of Bangor to continued success.
As the new owner of FPC of Bangor, Phil will be responsible for various projects, including executive search, custom talent acquisition projects, talent pipeline assessment and management, hiring process evaluation, process mapping, and succession planning. He expressed his excitement about joining the FPC family, stating, “I am honored to continue the legacy of FPC Bangor into the next chapter and years to come.”
