Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2024 Beautify Texas Awards. These prestigious awards highlight individuals, organizations, and communities in Texas that are dedicated to enhancing the state’s natural beauty, improving environmental conditions, and promoting sustainable practices. Nominations are being accepted for a variety of categories, including the Stan Weik Leadership Award, OP Schnable Volunteer of the Year Award, Ruthe Jackson Youth Volunteer Award, and more.

Individuals and organizations can submit nominations online at http://www.ktb.org/beautify-texas-awards. The deadline for submissions is Nov 22, 2024 at 5 pm CT. Winners will be celebrated at the Keep Texas Beautiful Annual Conference in Austin on May 6, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for environmental champions to receive statewide recognition for their efforts.
In addition to recognizing outstanding individuals, the Beautify Texas Awards also acknowledge businesses and organizations that demonstrate a commitment to environmental stewardship. The Ebby Halliday & Maurice Acers Business/Industry Award highlights businesses with sound environmental practices that align with the mission of Keep Texas Beautiful.
Keep Texas Beautiful, a nonprofit organization with over 50 years of experience, works to inspire Texans to improve their communities through environmental education, litter prevention, and beautification initiatives.
