TAICCA is calling for projects for the 5th Taiwan Creative Content Festival (TCCF) with an expected investment of more than $3 million. The “Project to Screen” section is open for feature films, series, animation, and documentaries. Registration opens on June 3, with selected projects receiving training resources and a chance to present their proposals at TCCF. One outstanding project will receive the “Project to Screen: Best Project” award and a $30,000 prize.
Selected projects can apply for TAICCA’s “Creative Content Development Program (CCDP) – Development Fund” and “Taiwan International Co-financing Program 2.0 (TICP 2.0) Option 2” within two years. These programs have led to success at prestigious film festivals like the Berlinale and Festival de Cannes, opening doors for international marketing opportunities.
TCCF 2024 is collaborating with various festivals and markets to promote audiovisual works globally. Winners of TCCF awards have gained recognition at festivals like Trento Cinema in Italy and Millennium Docs Against Gravity in Poland. The festival serves as a platform to showcase Taiwan’s cultural and content strengths on a global scale.
“Story to Screen” sessions at TCCF PITCHING highlight story IPs with adaptation potential, attracting industry buyers and professionals. President Homme TSAI emphasized TAICCA’s commitment to elevating Taiwan’s creative industry through collaborations with domestic and international companies, fostering a production environment for high-quality works.
TCCF is a significant event for the Asian creative content industry, offering opportunities for networking, negotiations, and promoting exceptional works with international marketing potential. The event is divided into PITCHING, MARKET, and FORUM sections, focusing on transmedia content development, investment, sale, and distribution opportunities.
