Stocks: T-Mobile, Tesla, Boeing, AMD and More

Hey there, stock market enthusiasts! Let’s take a peek at the companies making big waves before the bell.

First up, we’ve got Netflix, whose stock price soared by 9.2% after exceeding analysts’ expectations for revenue and subscriber growth in the fourth quarter. The streaming giant added a whopping 13.1 million subscribers, bringing their total paid subscribers to a record-breaking 260.8 million. Impressive, right?

Next, we’ve got ASML, the Dutch chip firm, whose shares gained 6.8% after beating revenue and profit expectations. The CEO also forecasts “significant growth” for the company in 2025. Looking good for the future, ASML!

On the flip side, Texas Instruments saw a slight dip of more than 3% after falling short of revenue estimates for the fourth quarter. The company’s first-quarter guidance also didn’t quite meet expectations. Better luck next time, Texas Instruments!

Meanwhile, SAP, the German software stock, jumped 7.3% after announcing restructuring efforts that aim to implement voluntary buyouts or job changes for 8,000 employees. Talk about a bold move for the company’s future!

Unfortunately, Dupont de Nemours didn’t have such great news, with shares plunging 11.6% after preannouncing fourth-quarter and first-quarter results that fell short of analyst expectations. It’s a tough break for Dupont de Nemours.

Shifting gears to EBay, the online marketplace saw an uptick of more than 3% after revealing plans to lay off 9% of its workforce. Tough decisions, but necessary for the company’s growth, according to EBay’s CEO.

Electric vehicle powerhouse Tesla added 1.3% ahead of its quarterly earnings, expected after the market closes on Wednesday. Exciting times for Tesla fans!

On the flip side, AT & T didn’t have as much luck, with the stock slumping about 4% after posting a fourth-quarter earnings miss. They did, however, slightly beat revenue expectations and are expecting adjusted EPS growth in 2025.

Lastly, we’ve got Advanced Micro Devices, whose shares advanced 2% following an upgrade to buy by NewStreet Research. They see some promising growth ahead for AMD.

There you have it, folks! That’s a wrap on the pre-bell news for today. Stay tuned for more updates on the market’s movers and shakers. Happy trading!
