Expansion of Majestic Residences Assisted Living Franchise System to Dominican Republic through Master Franchise Agreement with SaritaCelestec Homes

Majestic Residences, a well-known residential assisted living home franchise, has recently expanded its operations internationally to Latin America and the Caribbean Islands. The first of many Majestic Residences residential assisted living homes in this region will be located in the Dominican Republic, under a new Master Franchise licensing agreement with CEO Lucia Sarita of The SaritaCelestec Homes.

Majestic Residences Co-Founder and CEO, Chuck Bongiovanni, expressed excitement about raising the standards for assisted living homes in the Dominican Republic, aiming to significantly improve the quality of life for elderly residents and US citizens retiring in the country. He emphasized that the current care in the Dominican Republic falls below acceptable standards and that the partnership with The SaritaCelestec Homes will bring about positive change.

One of Majestic Residences’ innovative growth strategies involves introducing a unique “assisted living time share” program, catering to baby boomers in America who often cut their vacations short due to a loved one requiring care back home. With the Latin America and Caribbean Master Franchise operations in place, families can now enjoy extended vacations while having their loved ones receive care in a Majestic Residences home in the Dominican Republic, without incurring any additional fees.

The SaritaCelestec Homes founder, Lucia Sarita, shared her vision of converting an existing private school in Santo Domingo to a 20-bed residential assisted living home, with the aim to open in early 2022. This location is expected to provide affordable monthly resident fees starting at $1,500.00 USD and will offer high-quality care in a tropical environment.

Sarita, an experienced Health Care professional and nurse in New York, revealed that her inspiration came from her own family’s struggle to find a comfortable and affordable assisted living home for her grandmother in Santo Domingo. She emphasized her commitment to improving care for seniors in her country and revealed her plans to open multiple franchises across the Dominican Republic and other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, in partnership with Majestic Residences.

Majestic Residences, co-founded by Chuck Bongiovanni and the late Gene Guarino, has been recognized for its high-tech assisted living homes and has over 30 franchises awarded, with several already in operation in the United States. The franchise system is set to expand further, with additional franchises scheduled to open in various states by the end of Q2 in 2022. The ultimate goal of Majestic Residences is to become the largest Residential Assisted Living Home franchise system in the near foreseeable future.

The SaritaCelestec Homes, as a Master Franchise for Latin America and the Caribbean Islands, aims to provide premium quality assisted living centers and has ambitious plans to open 24-30 franchises in the Dominican Republic and subsequently in other parts of Latin America within the next 3 to 5 years. The first community is projected to open in Q1 of 2022, transforming a private school into a 20-bed residential assisted living home in the picturesque neighborhood of Arroyo Hondo, Santo Domingo.

This collaboration between Majestic Residences and The SaritaCelestec Homes represents a significant step towards improving the quality of assisted living care in the Dominican Republic and beyond, offering a unique and beneficial solution for families looking to provide international care for their loved ones.
