Enchanted Rock, a notable provider of dual-purpose microgrids, recently declared the appointment of Paul Froutan as Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive the end-to-end integration of technology, EPC, and O&M for industry-leading resiliency. Froutan, who joined Enchanted Rock in 2022 as the Chief Technology Officer, has been instrumental in leading the company’s microgrid management software and advanced natural gas generator initiative.
As part of the company’s leadership transition, the product engineering, EPC, and operations and maintenance teams will be integrated under Froutan. These combined functions will support the industry’s only vertically integrated microgrid solutions, enabling Enchanted Rock to deliver unparalleled power reliability for critical infrastructure. This cohesive approach will further enhance innovation feedback loops, benefitting customers and the communities reliant on the company’s services.
Mr. Froutan has contributed significantly to the company, bringing his expertise from serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Xenex Disinfection Services, in addition to leading Google’s Global Data Center Operations. His leadership and knowledge of emerging technologies, along with his extensive experience in managing large teams, positions him well to continue the company’s commitment to delivering customer-focused solutions.
It is worth noting that, Thais Grossi, the former Chief Operating Officer, who served Enchanted Rock for nearly eight years, will be departing, leaving a legacy of creating and scaling microgrid solutions for customers. CEO Thomas McAndrew expressed gratitude for Grossi’s dedication and is looking forward to the contributions that Froutan will make in his new capacity.
